Adolf Naef’s Vintage Octopus Illustrations

The Biodiversity Heritage Library on behalf of the Smithsonian Institution just released the work of Adolf Naef (1883-1949), a Swiss zoologist and palaeontologist who studied the squid Loligo vulgaris, the subject of his dissertation.
